OETKER COLLECTION
Masterpiece hotels
Website & booking platform
(Overview)
Luxury travel, reimagined. One platform for a family of the world's finest hotels.
The Oetker Collection is a small family of masterpiece hotels, from Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc on the Riviera to Le Bristol in Paris. Each has its own character and loyal guests. Each also needed a website that felt as considered as a stay there.
I was at Tokyo Digital when we took this on. Working with Brave New World's London office, Tokyo Digital built a single integrated website and booking platform for the group and every hotel in it. It shares one engine and one set of data, but each property keeps its own identity and services.

The booking journey
Booking a suite at Le Bristol should feel nothing like booking a budget flight. We designed a calm, three-step journey that stays in the hotel's own world from start to finish. Guests pick a room, add the extras that make the stay theirs, and land on a confirmation that reads like a personal welcome.

Inspiration first
Not every guest arrives knowing where they want to go. The mood-led discovery tool lets people start with a feeling, whether that's art and culture, family, spa or skiing. It then points them to the hotels and experiences that fit, on any screen.

My role
As Senior Technical Delivery and Integration Lead at Tokyo Digital, I was responsible for getting a complex, multi-property platform live and keeping it joined up behind the scenes. That covered the booking engine, lead capture and the analytics that gave Oetker's management a full view of performance. I also kept delivery on track across Tokyo Digital and Brave New World.
